This month, we bring you a great micro-elimination update from the United Arab Emirates and news about a newly-launched hepatitis B screening and vaccination initiative in central Uganda.
We also have updates from #NOhep supporters in Bangladesh, the UK and Australia, and an interesting new Supporter Spotlight from Milan Mishkovikj from Macedonia. If you’d like your NOhep activities featured in NOhep News, or you’re interested in being our next Supporter Spotlight, please get in touch at email@example.com.
Milan Mishkovikj hoped someone would step up to lead the fight against viral hepatitis in Macedonia. When no one did, he realised it would have to be him. He founded liver patients’ organisation Hepar Centar-Bitola in 2012, and has been working to drive better liver health and the elimination of viral hepatitis in Macedonia ever since.
